When you connect external storage platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox), dMonk uses read-only access to analyze your files and generate Augmented Metadata such as summaries, extracted text, smart labels, grouping information, and search references. This Augmented Metadata is stored in your account to help you organize, search, and retrieve your information more efficiently in the future. We do not store or copy your original files from third-party platforms unless you explicitly request it. The Augmented Metadata contains only derived text and contextual information, not the full file in its native format, and remains under your control you can export or permanently delete it at any time. For language processing, we use the Mistral LLM, whose data privacy practices are aligned with the European Union’s data protection regulations and applicable AI governance laws. Under these standards, any data processed through their models is never used to train or improve the models. All processing is done solely to deliver results for your account and is never shared or reused for any other purpose.
We never store, modify, or share the actual content of your third-party files unless explicitly requested by you.
If you choose to store files directly with dMonk, they are securely hosted on EU-based servers and processed in accordance with the European Union’s data protection regulations and applicable AI governance laws. Files stored with dMonk may be processed by AI models (local or via API) including the Mistral LLM to generate summaries, tags, and other metadata that enhance your ability to organize and retrieve information. In line with EU legal standards, any data processed through these models is never used to train or improve the models. Processing occurs solely to deliver results for your account and is never stored, reused, or shared for any other purpose. You retain full ownership and control over your files at all times. You can access, export, or delete them whenever you choose.
